About

Simeon Care is a UK writer, currently working as a copywriter, comic book writer and social media marketing professional. He has been obsessed with stories for as long as he can remember, especially anything dark, funny and magical.

His writing has appeared in Friday Flash Fiction, Black Petals Magazine, Blood Moon Rising Magazine, Nanoism and anthologies from Bag of Bones Press and Shacklebound Books.
Before he started writing or teaching, he earned his degree in Biblical Studies from the University of Sheffield. Later, he earned a PGCE from the University of East Anglia.
Simeon discovered later in life that he is dyslexic, but views it as an asset when it comes to creative thinking.

His writing influences include Susanna Clarke, Douglas Adams, Neil Gaiman, Sir Terry Pratchett, Lewis Carroll and C.S Lewis. He gravitates towards writers who see the world in a unique way and stories that intersect magic with the real world.
Simeon spends most of his free time with his wife and two children, playing and going for walks in the Norfolk countryside. He is an avid drummer, which he finds highly therapeutic.
His coffee addiction is something of a problem.
